Mahesh Babu’s rates are usually between Rs. 4.5 billion and 6 billion per movie.However, with SSMB 29, he has taken a different path and is now reportedly following in the footsteps of Bollywood’s biggest stars like Shah Rukh Khan

According to the latest reports, Mahesh Babu will receive remuneration and profit share as the next director of Rajamouli. The actor is reportedly charging a whopping Rs 125 million for the film. This is a significant amount, but not surprising considering the actor’s popularity and the film’s budget.

SSMB 29 Profit Sharing Model

Pre-production work has started with Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu will be participating in workshops for the next two months. Rajamouli is fully responsible for budgeting, profit sharing, and paying the actors who appear in his films. There are talks of director Rajamouli charging a hefty fee as a package for his family, with director Rajamouli taking a lion’s share of the profits from his own films.

Telugu 360 reports that a key meeting will be held in March where Mahesh Babu, Rajamouli and KL Narayana will discuss the budget, payments and profit sharing.
