FX Shogun Welcomes ‘Prestige TV’: Here’s When Episode 3 Is Coming | web series

The premiere of FX Shogun on February 27 kicked off a decent TV event, and we were all transported back in time to feudal Japan. John Wick: Chapter 4 stars Hiroyuki Sanada, a veteran martial artist who has contributed heavily to samurai stories over the years, returning as the historical drama’s leading man. Based on the 17th century novel by John Clavell, the series opened the door for another ambitious rivalry and mysterious warriors in the middle.

The two-episode premiere kicked off the discussion on one of the year’s most anticipated TV projects, with viewers already calling it “phenomenal” and a “masterpiece.” Another Shogun review from the Twitterati went so far as to declare that the FX series was doing everything it could to recreate the “feel of golden age television.” Combining an ambitious mix of authentic Japanese culture, action, cultural politics and more, the release dates for upcoming episodes of Shogun are already in sight. Here’s what we know about the upcoming episodes:

Shogun Episode 3 Release Date

Despite its debut, FX will not produce two episodes each week. The next episode, the third, will air on FX on March 5, 2024. Titled “Tomorrow is Tomorrow,” the taping will be released on OTT platforms Hulu and Disney+ at 12 a.m. ET, followed by its FX cable premiere. at 10 p.m. ET.

What to expect from Shogun episode 3

Through the eyes of an epic saga at war, the next installment takes us straight to the heart of the preparations for the same. This, in turn, will bring more political drama as important figures choose their new roles and choose their alliances, while betrayal on the other side emerges.

The preview for the third episode also establishes John as Toranga’s indispensable advisor. On the other hand, he calls attention to other feudal lords as he continues to partner with them.
