Will Zee Re Zarah ever see the light of day? Farhan Akhtar’s all-female road trip film was announced three years ago and starred Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. However, there is no update regarding the shooting of the film and it is said that Farhan is proceeding with the shooting of ‘Don 3’. A new post from Reddit page BollyBlindsNGossip shared a fan edit of what would have happened if the producers had made the movie with three actors and three actors. Reacting to this fan edit, one fan wrote, “I still remember the chaos on social media when the movie was announced…but they just ruined the hype by delaying the release so much! ” he said. Another fan said: “What a missed opportunity…maybe it will happen in a few years, but I doubt it will be the same cast.” A second fan said: “Maybe the success of ‘The Crew’ will bring them back together and maybe they can make another fun movie.”

One fan felt that Farhan Akhtar had a better opportunity in this film than in Don 3. “It had a more positive publicity effect than ‘Don 3,'” read the comment. A fan also wrote, “He could have done it. He could have done it. He should have done it. But Farhan didn’t do it! If he was serious about making ‘Jee Re Zarah’, he wouldn’t have done it due to scheduling. “I probably would have worked harder to decide on the ‘date’,” he said. This buddy road movie was announced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Farhan’s 2001 directorial debut ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. The film is produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and is co-written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Alia has appeared in ‘Zigra’ and will be shooting for ‘Love & War’ next, while Priyanka will be starring in ‘The Bluff’, produced by the Russo brothers and heads of state. Katrina is yet to announce her next project.
