Will we see Spider-Man in the Invincible season 2 finale? | web series

The Invincible season 2 finale is sure to result in a bloody mess that no one can handle. However, this latest scoop has fans holding on for dear hope as actor Josh Keaton has been confirmed to be voicing an episode of the upcoming season of the adult animated series.

Spider-Man met in the pages of Invincible Marvel Team-Up Vol 3 #14; Josh Keaton voices the Spectacular Spider-Man.

For those unfamiliar, here’s a quick reminder – Keaton is the man who voiced the character of the Web Slinger in the animated superhero series The Spectacular Spider-Man. Even if that happens, it won’t be the first time Peter Parker and Mark Grayson have met. There was a time when Invincible creator Robert Kirkman also wrote content for Marvel Comics.

This simple coincidence of working with Fate combined for an epic Spider-Man meets The Invincible twist in Marvel Team-Up Vol 3 #14. The same case was also mentioned in the Invincible comics. So, are these two beloved superheroes about to cross paths?

Spider-Man Invincible Season 2?

X (ex-Twitter) user @Cryptic4KQual often appears with reliable leaks around the show. They still think Spider-Man will appear in Invincible Season 2 Part 2 when it premieres on Amazon Prime Video on March 14, 2024. Despite being called out for the “false” spread, Scooper responded. an impudent jest, asserting their original claims.t

In the same breath, Scooper @MyTimeToShineH accepted the possibility of Keaton reprising his role as Spider-Man. When asked who he would play in Invincible, Keaton simply tweeted, “Playing a character in one episode.” In another follow-up tweet to a fan question, he replied that he didn’t get the entire script and doesn’t know the episode number because everything is “like NSA-level security.”

It remains unclear if Keaton is actually reprising his Spidey persona for his Invincible cameo or not. Sony Pictures, Marvel Studios and Prime Video need to be on the same page to make things right.

While Keaton does his best to earn Employee of the Month from the creative team, his con-worthy, self-deprecating responses tell a different story. He also voiced Steve Rogers in the Disney+ series What If…? And suddenly appeared in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The web crawler’s copyright was a complicated web of confusion from the start (the same fiasco that led to the cancellation of The Spectacular Spider-Man after two seasons). While Sony owns several stories in the Spider-Man universe, Marvel is developing its own Your Friendly Neighbor Spider-Man series. In addition, Sony has also signed a deal with Prime Video to develop Silk: Spider Society and Spider-Man Noir.

Therefore, in a strangely chaotic way, each production banner is undoubtedly connected to another through a network of web heads. That makes it easy to spoil the issue, but we know things are easier said than done when it comes to making connections with Marvel Comics characters in the larger cinematic universe. Only the Invincibles Season 2 Episode 2 premiere will be able to dispel any fears and prove us right or wrong.
