On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Karan Johar’s directorial series Love Storiyaan was launched. Helmed by six directors, the series explores the real-life love stories of six couples, featuring diverse narratives. However, the sixth episode was reportedly banned in six countries.

The episode depicts Tista and Deepan’s transgender love story titled love beyond labels And reportedly banned in many countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia and Egypt.
The episode also traces the extraordinary journey of Tista and Deepani, which begins with their gender transition surgery, which has sparked global controversy due to its ban in specific regions. This incident sparked a discussion on the acceptance of diverse love stories on a global scale.
