The 2024 BAFTA Awards are just around the corner, and the world’s biggest movie stars are set to attend.
In the next few days, Hollywood actors, including Emma Stone, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, will head to London to attend the ceremony, which will be held at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (February 18).
Winners will be named exactly one month after the nominated films, actors, directors and writers are revealed by former EE Rising Star nominees Naomi Ackie and Kingsley Ben-Adir during a live press conference.
Actor David Tennant will present this year’s BAFTA Awards, which will be broadcast on BBC One. This will be the Scottish actor’s first TV appearance since returning for a series of TV series Doctor Who Special offers in 2023.
Films competing at this year’s ceremony include: Oppenheimerwhich swept the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards earlier this month, in addition to its blockbuster hit BarbieMartin Scorsese Moonflower Killers And Bad thingsStone Championship.

David Tennant has revealed the one rule he will follow when he hosts the 2024 BAFTA ceremony on Sunday, February 18. The Doctor Who star spoke to Variety ahead of this weekend’s ceremony. It comes after Jo Koy’s jokes fell flat with Golden Globes audiences in January. Asked if he had any concerns about not posting his jokes on Sunday, Tennant said: “I’m just there to hold it all together. And don’t criticize Tay Tay, I think that’s the lesson to be learned. I live in a Taylor Swift fan house, so I know better.

When and how to watch the concert
Sunday’s concert will begin live in London at 4pm GMT, with an edited version shown once it concludes at 7pm GMT. However, you will be able to stream red carpet coverage from creator Zainab Giwa, starting at 2.30pm GMT, on the Baftas’ TikTok channel.
Clara Amfo and Alex Zane will also cover the red carpet simultaneously, which viewers can listen to via the Bafta live stream on YouTube.
A televised version of the film awards will be available to watch on BBC One. It will also be available to stream on iPlayer and BritBox.
For those outside the UK, you can check the Baftas website to find alternative broadcasters. But don’t forget to check your local listing, as casting times may vary.
