In a recent interview, Emraan said that he never imagined himself doing a south film, much less a villain’s film. The actor recently played the role of an antagonist in the movie Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
In an interview with Times of India, Emraan said he was drawn to the southern film industry because the character he played in OG was well written. Emraan also praised the film’s director Sujeeth, calling him “brilliant”. He revealed that Sujeeth is making films on a huge canvas.

Director Emraan, who has extensive experience in the Hindi film industry and has delivered several blockbusters, pointed out that southern filmmakers have a different work ethic. He said, “I think southern filmmakers are much more disciplined than us (in Hindi films). All the money they spend on films goes on screen.”

The actor is of the opinion that money is wasted in the wrong sectors in the Hindi film industry and it doesn’t show up on screen. The actor said there is a subtlety in southern films, especially when it comes to visual effects. The Tiger 3 star added that Hindi cinema has a lot to learn from southern films and filmmakers.
