About the Animal vs. Sam Bahadur clash
“I think on Friday, we’ll both finally be handing over our films to the audience. It’s going to be more the audience’s day than ours. In this day and age, we As an industry, we should give our audiences the option of watching multiple movies on the same day, so we can thrive as an industry. There are so many weeks in a year, but as an industry, “We cannot limit ourselves to producing this many films in a year. We will have to produce multiple films and we will have multiple releases on the same day,” he said.
“We work for our viewers, not each other.”
Vicky further added, “We need to build an atmosphere where we can produce multiple films on the same day. We have the power of the audience as well as the power at the exhibitor level. We also need to push the envelope now.” Given today’s scenario, if the audience’s excitement resonates with two movies and both movies are good, I think both will work. I’m excited about ‘Animal’ as long as it’s a great day for the audience. We’re working for them, not each other.”
Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and stars Ranbir, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.

Vicky ‘caught’ in wife Katrina Kaif’s film
When reminded that his wife Katrina Kaif also has a film coming up around his film, Vicky told reporters that both of them are excited about each other’s films. He added with a laugh: “Conversations at home…she’s excited about my movie and I’m excited about her movie. And not only did she get one movie after my movie; We also got one movie two weeks before mine. I’m sandwiched between her movies, but it’s a great place to be.”
While Salman Khan and Katrina’s next film ‘Tiger 3’ is scheduled to release on Diwali on November 10, her film ‘Merry Christmas’ co-starring Sriram Raghavan and Vijay Sethupathi will hit theaters on December 15. It is scheduled to be published.
