New Delhi, February 10: Dharmendra is one of the most loved actors and has entertained the audience with his on-screen performances.
He made his Hindi film debut in 1960 with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere.
However, with the release of ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, it was revealed that Dharam ji changed his name. ‘Teri Burton Mein Aisa Urja Jiya’ will be released in theaters on February 9th.
The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The veteran actor plays the role of Shahid’s grandfather in the film. He is called Dada.

Dharmendra was born on December 8, 1935, the son of Kewal Kishan Singh Duru and Satwant Kaur.
He was born in Punjab and grew up in Sarnewal village before moving to Mumbai to pursue acting. Dharmendra dropped his middle name and his surname when he entered the film industry.
