Paul Thomas Anderson has assembled the cast for his latest film. Alana Haim, who makes her film debut in Anderson Licorice PizzaAnd One thousand and one Breakout Teyana Taylor has been added to the cast, along with Wood Harris and Sheena McHale.

Newcomer Chase Infiniti has also joined the untitled film, which is currently in production and, as previously announced, stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn and Regina Hall. The film’s plot remains secret.

Anderson wrote the script and will produce with Sarah Murphy and Adam Sumner, both of whom have worked with the director Licorice Pizza.

The project was created at Warner Bros., headed by Mike De Luca and Pam Abdi, who worked with Anderson on the 2021 Oscar-nominated film during their time running MGM. While leading New Line, De Luca also worked with the director Boogie nights And Magnolia.

Outside Licorice PizzaHaim, repped by CAA and Management 360, has worked with Anderson on several music videos for herself and her eponymous band, including the song “Want You Back.”

Taylor, who is repped by WME, recently made waves as the lead in the 2023 Sundance Film Festival winner One thousand and one from Focus Features, giving it a Best Innovative Performance award from the National Board of Review, as well as Indie Spirit and Gotham nominations. Recently, she was in theaters with Sony Clarence book From director James Samuel.
