Manoj Bajpayee, the lead actor of Raj and DK’s The Family Man, has addressed speculations about a potential merger of the show’s universe with Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi.
Famous filmmakers Raj and DK celebrated their Prime Video hit family man, also directed the popular thriller series Farzi starring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. after release Farz, fans were quick to draw comparisons between the two shows’ universes. In a recent interview, Manoj Bajpayee, who stars in The Family Man, responded to speculations about a potential merger of the two worlds.
In an interview with Lalantop, Manoj said, “I don’t think it will happen. Now we have to finish four seasons of Family Man. First we have to complete this obligation and then think of something. But I don’t think these worlds will merge because Family Man is a very big world in itself. I don’t think Raj and DK and Amazon want to mix it with anything else.

Fans speculated about the link between the two shows after Farzi revealed The Family Man’s Chellam Sir. In one scene, Vijay’s character talks to someone named ‘Tiwari’ on a call, which is believed to be a direct reference to Manoj’s family man character Srikanth Tiwari.
In a previous interview with indianexpress.com, The Family Man writer Suparn S Varma spoke about fan theories about the merging of Farzi and Family Man worlds. He said: “I think everyone will have to wait until The Family Man season 3 comes out to find out what is speculation and what is theory. I am not going to add fuel to the fire. Let fans of both shows have some fun until Season 3 comes out. It’s fun. It’s that beautiful relationship that the audience creates when they love the show and they love the characters in the show.”
Filming for the third season of The Family Man has not yet begun. The show is expected to air in 2025.
