In a recent interview with The Week, K-Joe opened up about why she decided to keep her love life out of the public eye and how she didn’t want her sexuality to become just another headline. Dzhokhar said he didn’t want a large part of his life to be used as headlines. The filmmaker emphasized that he prefers to make a tangible impact through his work rather than become a sensation.

Karan also stressed that he has never hidden his identity and instead focuses on making an impact through films and other mediums. He believes the influence of his own work, such as dealing with sexuality in his films and his book Inappropriate Boy, is already sparking meaningful conversations among people. He also revealed that he has received letters and emails from individuals expressing how the depiction of sexuality in the film has helped him deal with similar situations with his colleagues and parents.

Dzhokhar acknowledged the ongoing impact and said he would continue to push the boundaries. However, don’t expect him to say much, as he feels that anything the director says will only be sensationalized and ridiculed. However, he believes that “movies are a much more memorable medium.”
