According to IMDb, the film stars Juhi Chawla and Karisma Kapoor as Jhanvi Sahni. Both of them refused to write the role, and it was ultimately given to Urmila. The reason why the two actresses, known for their acting skills, did not agree to appear in Judai has not been made public. There are also reports that Juhi and Karisma did not want to play the second female lead opposite Sridevi. Perhaps they opted out of this movie for this reason.
