Dune 2 Trailer Sees War Hit Arrakis – The Hollywood Reporter

The third trailer for Sand Dunes: Part Two It was revealed and we see in the clip an all-out war breaking out on Arrakis.

The new trailer establishes the relationship between Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and Zendaya’s Chani as their love story underpins much of the action and also seeks to explain the nature of the settlement of Arrakis as it becomes a crucible for galactic war. We also get more glimpses into the machinations of Christopher Walken’s Shaddam IV, the Padishah Emperor of the Known Universe as well as Austin Butler’s ruthless and psychotic Feid Rotha Harkonnen.

But the most surprising events in the trailer are the war scenes, as the Great Houses battle it out on the desert planet. We see hordes of troops from the Harkonnens and Atreides as well as Fremen and Sardaukar warriors all engaged in combat, but we also see the immense desert power of the mighty sandworms.

Sand Dunes: Part Two The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, and stars Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Zendaya as Chaney, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica Atreides, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Stellan Skarsgård as Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, Dave. Bautista (Glosso Raban Harkonnen), Charlotte Rampling (Reverend Mother Mohiam) and Stephen McKinley Henderson (Dafir Hawat).

Newcomers to the saga include Austin Butler as Fed Rotha, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan Corrino, Léa Seydoux as Lady Margot, and Sohaila Yacoub as Shishakli.

Sand Dunes: Part Two It hits theaters on March 1, 2024.
