director Shuchi Talati, the film is a compelling story set in a boarding school in a small town in the Himalayas of northern India. The film depicts the journey of a 16-year-old girl, Mila, whose rebellious awakening is intertwined with her mother’s unfulfilling growing up experiences.
It was produced under the Pushing Buttons Studios banner founded by Richa. Chadha and Ali Fazal produced ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ in March 2021, marking their venture into filmmaking. The cast includes award-winning Malayalam film actresses Kani Kusruthi, Jitin Gulati and Preeti Panigrahi in her debut role. Starring Kesab Binoy Kiron.
