Speaking about what this film means to him, Prithviraj Sukumaran said: This journey didn’t start in 2018, it started in 2009. Mr. Blessy procured the rights to this wonderful book in 2008-2009. Blessy is one of the most popular filmmakers in the Malayalam film industry. In 2009, I was trying to discover myself as an actor and that’s where my journey began. A lot has changed in 10 years. From the beginning, Blessy was adamant that this not be a green screen film. He needed to shoot in natural locations. We started filming in 2018, during which the pandemic occurred, but we never gave up. When the world opened up, we moved back to Algeria. I don’t know if the film crew had ever seen a place like the one we filmed in, but we were deep in the desert. It was a big journey spanning 16 years. I’m 41 years old, and I’ve been working on this film for 16 years. It’s a big part of adult life. So thank you for being a part of this film. ”

Talking about the film’s music, AR Rahman said: “I’m very honored to be in this position because I didn’t realize how big this movie was when they first came to me. But Blessy was very persistent. . He came and told me the story, and I gifted him some songs. And finally we went to Jordan. I’m an explorer and a first-time viewer. Something If I get tired of it, I won’t do it. I’m lucky to have great directors like Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra, Blessy, Mani Ratnam, Imtiaz Ali, Anand L. Rai.”

Speaking about the Hindi version of the song, Prasoon Joshi said: This was purely a first composition and an afterthought, so I had to write it to go with the song. This is an immersive movie. You have no choice but to trust the director. You have to trust the pilot, the creator. I want you to feel the pain of the story because that’s what this movie is trying to do. I decided to immerse myself in it first. I felt the characteristics of this movie. So I have to thank everyone involved in the film for giving me this opportunity. ”

The film is based on the novel ‘Aadujeevitham’, one of the most popular bestsellers in the history of Malayalam literature, which has been translated into 12 languages ​​including foreign languages. Written by renowned author Benjamin, it tells the true story of the life of Najeeb, a young man who migrated from the lush coast of Kerala in the early 1990s in search of wealth in foreign lands.

Produced by Visual Romance, The Goat Life stars Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, Indian actors such as Amala Paul and KR Gokul, and notable actors such as Talib Al Balsi and Rick Abbey. Arab actors also appear in important roles. The music direction and sound design of the new film will be helmed by Academy Award winners AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty respectively.
