Sam Bahadur box office collection so far
Directed by Meghana Gulzar, the biopic on India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw began its theatrical release on December 1 and grossed Rs 6.25 billion. On Saturday, the number increased by 44% to 9 billion rupees. Sunday was even more exciting as the film’s box office collection reached Rs 10.3 crore. However, the film failed to pass the crucial first test on Monday, witnessing a massive drop of 66.02% while earning Rs 350 crore.
The film’s box office collection was clearly better than Vicky Kaushal’s previous film, The Great Indian Family, which finished its theatrical run with around Rs 5.65 billion and the same which earned Rs 880 million at the box office. It is on the same level as the actor’s previous hit film ‘Zara Hakke Zara Bakke’. its lifespan.
In comparison, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has been steadily gaining footfall in theaters. The film grossed over 250 million rupees in India and 450 million rupees worldwide.
