David Ayer has once again taken to social media to defend his release Suicide squad “Air Cut”. In doing so, the director also championed James Gunn’s bravery in his new role at DC Studios.

It’s now been over a year since James Gunn (and his forgotten co-president Peter Safran) took over DC Studios. While some fans are still hesitant, many others finally have hope for the DC Universe. The two explained that the DC Universe could bring back elements of previous DC systems, meaning their eight-year plan isn’t a complete reboot.
