A new Jason Bourne movie is in the works with ‘All Quite On The Western Front’ director Edward Berger and Matt Damon to reprise the role – reports
Jason Bourne may be seeing a revival. Universal is developing a new take on the action film series, with Edward Berger, best known for directing All is quiet on the Western Frontleads the charge, as reported Hollywood Reporter. Although Matt Damon, who rose to fame as an action star with this role in the early 2000s, could reprise his role, there is currently no script and therefore no confirmed star commitments. Damon played Bourne in the film trilogy from 2002 to 2007, then returned to the role in the 2016 film J.Asun Born. Inspired by the novels of the late author Robert Ludlum, these films follow a government agent who loses his memory and becomes hunted by his own country. Additionally, Jeremy Renner starred in a 2012 spinoff film Inherited goal. Kissing Scarlett Johansson is “hell”? Matt Damon reveals he felt it while filming an intimate scene in We Bought a Zoo.
