Hollywood actor Michael Douglas delivers a speech during the International Film Festival of India in Panaji

Hollywood actor Michael Douglas will address a training session during the upcoming International Film Festival of India here on November 28, a senior official said.

IFFI will be held from November 20 to 28 at various venues in the capital city of Goa.
Prithul Kumar, director of IFFI 2023, told reporters that the masterclass will be held at the refurbished and refurbished Kala Academy building in Panaji.

Michael Douglas will attend the festival from November 27-29 where he will be honored with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award. The actor will address the IFFI Master Class on November 28, Kumar said.

According to Kumar, 15 films will be screened from the international competitions section, seven films from the Best Debut Director category, and 198 international films, including 13 films that premiered globally.

“In the Kaleidoscope section, there will be 19 films from festivals such as Cannes, Venice, São Paulo, Rotterdam, Santa Barbara, Stockholm and others. In the ‘World Cinema’ section, there will be 103 films that explore the amazing diversity of films.” “Aesthetics and narratives from cinema around the world,” Kumar added.

Michael Douglas, an American film actor and producer, has received numerous awards, including two Academy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards, among others.
