When it comes to international festivals, Indian documentaries are ahead of other blockbuster festivals. However, these accolades do not always translate into immediate profits, and the documentary still does not get the support it needs. Therefore, there is a great need for promotion through film festivals like IFFI.
IFFI’s 54th edition has many first documentaries
Apart from the inclusion of documentaries in the “World Cinema” section, there is a special documontage section for films.

As part of the Film His Bazaar Knowledge series, several sessions are planned that explore different aspects of documentary filmmaking.
