Wonder Woman star Chris Pine has no plans for more Marvel or DC projects
Chris Pine has taken the internet by storm with his role as Steve Trevor in the movie Wonder Woman Commercial franchise. Three years after his last release, it appears that Pine has no interest in returning to the superhero genre with Marvel or DC.
The joke in Hollywood about Chris joining superhero projects is for a reason, with Chris Pine starring in it Wonder Woman Being the latest of many Chrises to join the genre. But with the latest DC Studios reboot ousting Pine from the role of Steve Trevor, the actor was asked if he would be interested in rejoining the DC Universe or moving to Marvel after his role in Spider Physwho simply told ComicBook.com “No.”
It’s certainly understandable why Chris Pine would want to quit when he was so ahead of the curve in the superhero genre. Both Marvel and DC carry huge contractual obligations when it comes to their actors. Payne has also tried to move more towards directing in recent years, although his new film Pullman did not receive good reviews. Regardless, it doesn’t look like another superhero project is on the cards for the actor.

Shazam! The wrath of the gods, the lightAnd Blue beetle They were all released after the announcement of the new DC Universe, with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom It’s still scheduled to hit theaters in 2023. Will the characters from those films appear in the new DCU? Only Gan and Safran know.
