The film marks Sooraj Barjatiya’s directorial return since 2015’s family drama Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which starred Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Anupam Kher.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kher has finished shooting for his upcoming film ‘Vijay 69’.
Anupam Kher was injured during the shooting of ‘Vijay 69’. He had injured his shoulder and informed his fans about the same by posting an image of his injured right hand being draped in a sling.
Produced under the banner of YRF Entertainment, ‘Vijay 69’ depicts the life of a Chinese zodiac male, played by Kher, who decides to participate in a triathlon contest at the age of 69.
The film will be directed by Akshay Roy, who previously directed ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ for YRF. He has also worked as an assistant director on acclaimed films such as Mira Nair’s ‘The Namesake’, Aamir Khan’s debut film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and Deepa Mehta’s ‘Water’. Ta.

Kher has also completed the shooting of the film ‘Calorie’ in Amritsar, Punjab. The film is directed by Canadian filmmaker Eisha Marjara.
