The family adventure film Super Gran tops the list of adventure films for the year 2023 – The Hollywood Reporter

The family adventure comedy has topped the 2023 edition of The British List, the UK’s version of the Blacklist of Unproduced Scripts.

Get 18 recommendations, Kerry Collins Super gran — based on the British children’s television series (which had a song performed by Billy Connelly) — led a total of 13 scripts to the final shortlist, which this year required a minimum of 12 recommendations for inclusion. For the first time since its founding in 2007, the 2013 Brit List has been included – which over the years has included Oscar winners including King’s speech, Danish girl And Favorite – Combined film and television scripts.

“What an exciting year! Thirteen scripts from fourteen fantastic writers have been included in the BRIT List 2023. The volume of scripts put forward for recommendation – and the number of participating companies from the UK film and TV industries – continues to grow. Most importantly, the range of written stories is diverse, engaging and brilliantly entertaining.
