The makers of Meghna Gulzar’s much-awaited biopic ‘Sam Bahadur’ have released the official trailer, creating huge excitement among fans. The film delves into the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, played by Vicky Kaushal, who was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. Manekshaw played a key role in India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war and the creation of Bangladesh.
The trailer provides a glimpse into Sam Manekshaw’s extraordinary leadership and the formidable challenges he faced. The trailer shows Manekshaw’s unwavering determination to win the war despite political pressure to maintain the status quo. The 2 minute and 38 second trailer offers a glimpse into Manekshaw’s illustrious 40-year military career, highlighting his relationship with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and how they worked together to defeat Pakistan. . It also depicts Manekshaw stressing to the minister the importance of discipline in the army. The trailer ends with Sam’s words: “Hum rahe ya na rahi is vardi ka gaurav hamesha leena chahii.”(Whether we live or die, we must always maintain the honor of this uniform.)

That’s something I’m really looking forward to.”
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies, ‘Sam Bahadur’ is scheduled to hit theaters on December 1. The film will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which is also scheduled to release in theaters on the same day.
