Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s much-awaited thriller Tiger 3 is looking forward to a record-breaking opening in theaters. Advance ticket sales for the film began Sunday, and the cash registers are already ringing. According to a report by Sacnilk, the film has already sold 200,000 and 27,000 tickets, with 2,17,992 tickets sold in Hindi speaking areas alone.
According to reports, the film sold tickets for 9,558 shows across India and earned Rs 6.48 billion. The maximum number of screenings for this film is currently (1857) in the state of Maharashtra, from which Rs 1.17 lakh is collected. The state with the second highest number of performances was Gujarat (1756), which collected Rs 53.11 million. Currently, 943 movie screenings are being held in Delhi. The film’s 2D format helped him sell tickets worth Rs 600 crore across the country.
Maneesh Sharma’s film has become the fifth-highest grossing film of 2023 in terms of advance ticket sales, surpassing the advance ticket sales of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. The result was a work of art. It is currently positioned behind Jawan, Pattern, Adipurush and Gadar 2.

Recalling Aamir Khan’s perfectionism during the shooting of Andaz Apna Apna, Karisma Kapoor said, “He was putting salt and pepper and fixing dishes.”
Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director, PVR INOX Limited, said Tiger 3 is attracting audiences beyond the Hindi confines. “Even though the film was released on Diwali, 100,000 advance tickets have already been sold, including 60,000 on the first day,” he told PTI. Given Khan’s huge fan following across the country and the dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu, the film was able to grab the attention of audiences beyond the Hindi-speaking world.”
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh is a bit concerned about the recovery of films on Sunday as many people in the country will be busy with festivities during Diwali. He told PTI, “The film will be released on Diwali Sunday, the day when Lakshmi puja is performed in the evening, so people may go on Monday, or they may go and book their spots or current reservations. It’s still a little early, but we’ll have more details closer to release. So far, it’s great.”
‘Tiger 3’ is the third film in Salman’s superhit ‘Tiger’ series which includes ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. It also stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. Besides Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo, Hrithik Roshan may also star as Kabir in Yash Raj Films’ another spy thriller ‘War’.
