Mani Ratnam’s KH 234 marks AnbAriv’s second collaboration with Kamal Haasan, after their work in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action epic Vikram.
Although they were hailed as two of the biggest icons the Tamil industry has ever seen and created a cinematic spectacle once they joined forces, it took 36 years after Nayakan for Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam to work together again. Tentatively titled 234The film boasts a strong technical crew, including AR Rahman for music, Sreekar Prasad for editing, Ravi K Chandran for cinematography, and the sensational duo of Anbu and Arivu, collectively known as AnbAriv.
Meanwhile, twins Anbu and Arivu, popularly known as AnbAriv, recently stated that KH 234 will be a pure action film, raising the spirits of cinephiles. “It will be by Hollywood standards,” they mentioned during a conversation with them Hindus.

This represents their second collaboration with Kamal, after their work in Lokesh Kanagaraj Vikram’s action epic. AnbAriv expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying: “While we are excited, we know that delivering the goods is a huge responsibility. We started working on business possibilities the minute we got the call.
“As action choreographers, our job is not just to show the sequence. We read the entire script and suggest places where the ‘heat’ is missing. Sometimes we suggest characters and dialogue in the run-up to the fight. They remember that ten years ago, we would only listen to a basic story We are working on action scenes.
“Today, we have to engage in the events, which basically indicate why the hero is fighting at that point in time in the film. Only then can we please the audiences, and give them the impression that if they were the protagonist, they would have done the same too,” the duo added.

Meanwhile, ahead of the official announcement of the project’s title, production house Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) has released a first look poster of Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film. The poster shows Kamal’s face partially hidden, with only his eyes visible, giving off a strong sense of bravery.
Dulquer Salmaan comes on board KH 234
Adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the project, RKFI also announced that Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan will be joining KH 234.
“His energy and enthusiasm lights up the screens! Always good to work with @dqsalmaan 😃 Glad to have you on board #KH234 ✨,” he said on social media to announce the same, adding the production company noted on social media.
