Shooting begins for the first Hindi web series on the life and struggles of Veer Savarkar – Punekar News
Pune, October 18, 2023: The shooting of Veer Savarkar – The Secret Files, the first web series on the life of the famous freedom fighter in Hindi, began at Raj Wada, Bhor on the auspicious occasion of Ghatasthapana. Ta.

Yogesh Soman said, “Veer Savarkar, along with his family, dedicated his life to the freedom of the nation. Unfortunately, very few people know about him. Although it is not our aim to answer his criticisms, our goal is to convey as accurately as possible the character of Veer Savarkar, based on historical evidence. ”
“Savalkar’s life spanned almost a century. Our endeavor is to inspire people and dispel misconceptions created for political and social interests. There was no guru other than Shivaji Maharaj. He was a born leader. ‘Veer Savarkar – Secret Files’ is our attempt to reveal the side of Savarkar that is not widely known to the general public.” added Soman.
He further said that although there have been dramas and films about Savarkar, this will be the first web series dedicated to him. The series has four seasons, the first of which follows Savarkar from his birth in 1883 to his dramatic escape from a steamboat in the port of Marseille.
Dr. Anirban Sarkar said: It is necessary to reveal his true character to society. Many people are unaware of his actual contribution to the freedom struggle and the sacrifices he made. This web series aims to highlight his struggles and contributions. I hope it helps people understand Savarkar better. It has been a dream of mine to create a web series based on his life, and through this project it is becoming a reality. ”
