Hollywood seems to have caught the F1 bug. Brad Pitt is working on a film about F1, thanks in part to executive producer Lewis Hamilton. The movie should be available on Apple TV at some point. Pitt’s colleague Keanu Reeves, known for his role in The Matrix, has completed his own film project based on the world’s premier motorsport class. The results can be seen on Disney+ as early as next month.

Reeves produced a four-part documentary series about Brown GP’s successful 2009. Ross Brawn’s team only competed in F1 for one season, but won both championships that year. Jenson Button won his first and only F1 world title with Brawn. In 2010, Brawn became the factory team for Mercedes, which coincidentally became one of the most successful teams in the history of the sport.

Reeves serves as a commentator on the series, which can be found on Disney’s streaming service. The movie star’s involvement in F1 has been known for some time. In 2022, Reeves made several appearances on the F1 grid and then spoke about the series’ plans regarding Brawn. Filming for the series has finished.

Additionally, F1 fans around the world are looking forward to the movie Hamilton is currently producing. Footage for this has already been shot on various circuits, but the project has been delayed due to the Hollywood writers’ strike. Release date is unknown.
