Tollywood movies

Three big releases in Tollywood this week.

This week, the Telugu film industry is abuzz with the much-awaited releases of Balakrishna starrer ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’, Ravi Teja starrer ‘Tiger Nageshwara Rao’ and Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Leo’.

Stay tuned as we delve into the complexities and fascinating charm surrounding these films.

Bhagavant Kesari: It deviates from the typical punchy dialogues, exaggerated Balakrishna-isms and clichéd songs and marks a significant change.

The trailer showcases an action-packed story that sees Balaya seen in a completely different perspective, directed by Anil Ravipudi.

Anil Ravipudi’s signature comedy seems to have taken a backseat to a more serious tone and the big question is whether the regular mass Balaya fans will accept this change or not.

Tiger Nageswara Rao: The success of Ravi Teja’s ‘Dhamaka’ was mainly due to the mesmerizing songs and Sreeela’s mesmerizing dance performance.

Similarly, his appearance in Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veeraya’ grabbed attention due to its festive atmosphere and inclusion of blockbuster songs. But with TNR, the focus shifts entirely to intense mass action, spanning a solid three hours of runtime.

It remains to be seen how audiences will react to this long, action-packed spectacle devoid of the usual song-and-dance elements.

Leo: Initially, the film received a lot of publicity and the song became a huge hit. However, those hopes were dashed after the trailer was released.

Nevertheless, with Lokesh Kanagaraju and Vijay’s ardent fandom, the film has the potential to stand a chance. If your content works, nothing stops.
