Getting your hands on a physical copy of your favorite movie is going to be a little harder.
Best Buy confirmed reports this week that it would soon stop selling DVDs and Blu-ray discs at more than 900 stores and on its website across the United States.
“Of course, the way we watch movies and TV shows is very different today than it was decades ago,” a spokesperson for the consumer electronics chain told Variety Friday.
“By making this change, we will have more space and opportunity to offer new and innovative technologies for our customers to explore, discover and enjoy,” they added.

Best Buy will reportedly continue to sell the discs during the holiday season and stop selling them after the new year.
The announcement comes just two weeks after Netflix officially ended its iconic DVD mail-in business.
Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said the company is finding it “increasingly difficult” to operate its business as the number of customers who still want physical movies “continues to decline.” said to throw away the classic red envelope.
“That iconic red envelope changed the way people watched shows and movies at home and paved the way for the transition to streaming,” he said at the time.
