Akshay Kumar’s latest release, “Mission Raniganj,” is facing a tough time at the box office. The film’s collection has been decreasing since its opening day. It earned Rs 2.8 crore on the first day, Rs 4.8 crore on the second day, and Rs 50 crore on the third day. However, its revenue has declined since then, earning Rs 1.5 crore each on the fourth and fifth day. On the sixth day, the film’s box office collection increased to Rs 1.3 billion, bringing the total collection to Rs 1.7 billion.
Despite the film’s box office performance, Akshay Kumar considers “Mission Raniganj” to be the best film of his career. He stated that it might not be a commercial success, but it is his most honest and true film. The film is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and is based on the true story of Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India’s first successful coal mine rescue operation in November 1989. It also stars Parineeti Chopra and Kumud Mishra, with Pavan Malhotra playing an important role.
Akshay Kumar also mentioned working with new directors in his career and emphasized the importance of being their friend. He has worked with 23-24 new directors so far.
After “Mission Raniganj,” Akshay Kumar has several upcoming projects, including the remake of “Soorarai Pottru,” “Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan,” “Sky Force,” “Welcome Back,” and “Hera Pheri 3.” He will also be seen in a cameo role in the film “Singham Again” directed by Rohit Shetty.
