Sony 50-inch X77L 4K TV — $500, formerly $530

Sony

If you want a good and high-quality TV, this X77l is the best option for you. It has 4k resolution, HDR10, and the latter is HLG, the HDR standard used by most broadcasters, making it ideal for watching sports. Of course, what’s really interesting about this TV is that it’s optimized for the PlayStation 5. That’s no surprise considering it’s also a Sony product, which primarily means automatic HDR tone mapping. On top of that, it also comes with a 4K upscaler, which you don’t often see in this price range, so there are certainly a lot of benefits.

Sony 65-inch X80K 4K TV — $800, formerly $850

Sony

Sony’s 65-inch X80K is a great choice if you’re looking for more detail and color reproduction than just overall image fidelity. It has similar specs to the X77L, including HDR10, HLG, and additional Dolby Vision, and is optimized for PS5. However, what makes this one different is that it has integration with his compatible BRAVIA CAM, which basically allows you to use your TV for meetings and talking to people online. This is a very nice feature.

Sony 65-inch X85K 4K TV — $900, formerly $1,000

Sony

The X85K and X80k are essentially the exact same TV, except the X85K has a base refresh rate of 120Hz instead of 60Hz. So if you like action-packed movies or watching sports, the X85K will be a great TV. The same goes if you’re a gamer and play on a PS5, Xbox Series X, or even a high-end gaming computer. Other than that, it’s just like a real TV, with HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, 4k resolution, Bravia Cam compatibility, and more. Honestly, if you can spare the extra $100, I recommend buying this TV. Higher refresh makes a big difference.

Sony 65-inch BRAVIA XR X90L 4K TV — $1,200, formerly $1,600

Sony

The Bravia XR X90L is the ultimate in convenience and luxury without breaking the bank. It features full-gamut image technology such as HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate, as well as full-array LED backlighting. This increases peak brightness across the board, making HDR and colors pop off the screen. If that’s not enough, Sony will give you credit for his Bravia Core app. This app has hundreds of movies and his IMax quality movies available for instant viewing. It also has PS5 and Bravia camera optimizations, so this really is the best middle ground in all respects.

Sony 55-inch BRAVIA XR A80L OLED 4K TV — $1,600, formerly $1,900

Sony

This Bravia 55-inch TV might be a little more expensive than the larger version, but it does come with an OLED panel. For those who aren’t familiar with the technology, it basically allows each individual LED to generate its own light, rather than relying on a backlight. This means it’s not only bright, but also true black, giving you incredible contrast and color reproduction. This is very helpful with his HDR10 and HLG included. Even more impressively, it can manage a 120Hz refresh rate, so if you really want the best picture quality, this Bravia XR A80L excels in every aspect. Although the price is a little high.

When it comes to contrast and image fidelity, it’s all about how bright the screen is, at least when it’s not OLED. Unlike the X90L version of the TV, this one comes with a mini LED. This is essentially millions of tiny LEDs that make the overall image brighter. This means you’ll see a beautiful picture even in the brightest of environments, making it the perfect TV for living areas with lots of natural light. Of course, it has all the features of the previous screen, including a 120Hz refresh rate, so if you’re a gamer, sports fan, or just enjoy watching action-packed shows and movies, this TV is for you .

Sony 65-inch BRAVIA XR A80L OLED 4K TV — $1,800, formerly $2,600

Sony

There’s not much to say about this beauty except that it’s a larger version of the 55-inch model. Whether it’s PS5 or the Bravia Core collection of 4K films, you’ll still enjoy gorgeous OLED screens, 120Hz refresh rates, and the full Sony experience.
