‘One Piece’ ranks in the top 10 Netflix TV shows in October

From best-selling manga to Netflix’s library, one piece The offbeat theme and engaging plotline garnered a lot of attention and helped the series enter the streamer’s top TV shows list.

according to comic book, The comedy-drama was ranked 6th in the streamer rankings from September 25th to October 1st.

Since its premiere, the series has garnered 28.4 billion hours of viewing. Noting the impressive success of the live-action adaptation of the wildly popular manga, Netflix has greenlit a second season of the series.

Series co-creator Matt Owens previously shared an update on the sequel.

“I don’t want to give too much away and talk about the new characters that we’re going to meet, but I would say that a major theme that we’re tackling in Season 2 is the challenge of leadership. From Luffy’s perspective. Look, he’s now gathering his crew and leaving for the Grand Line.”

He added, “They’re doing what they’re supposed to do, but that responsibility comes with a lot of challenges. And that theme ties into some other stories and characters that we won’t introduce yet. But the season… 2, challenge and leadership are big themes for us.”
