Helen Hunt looked amazing at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Gala at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday.

The event celebrated the venue’s 20th anniversary and honored architect Frank Gehry, who designed the venue.

The Academy Award-winning actress, 60, looked elegant in a sleeveless black dress paired with black sandal heels.

The Los Angeles native wore her blonde lockdown look while accessorizing with hoop earrings and a bracelet.

She is pictured with her best friend, 61-year-old actor Jeffrey Nordling, who has appeared in films such as Big Little Lies and 24.

Nordling was wearing a black three-piece suit, a patterned collared shirt, a black tie and black-framed glasses.

There were many other celebrities in attendance at the gala. Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz, 67 years old. Rockit artist Herbie Hancock, 83 years old. LA Phil director Gustavo Dudamel (42 years old), film director Rob Minkoff (61 years old) and his spouse Crystal Kung Minkoff (40 years old).

“A longtime friend of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the architect behind the design of the iconic downtown Los Angeles venue and the Judith and Thomas L. Beckmen YOLA Center,” the Los Angeles Philharmonic said in a statement on its website. It was established to honor Gary, who was described as In Inglewood. ”

Organizers intended to celebrate Gehry’s “iconoclasm” with performances by iconoclasts from their respective fields.

“This evening’s program will journey from Walt Disney Concert Hall’s storied beginnings to the architect’s oceanic inspirations, immortalized in the building’s steel sails and unprecedented sense of movement.”

Thursday’s program was scheduled to begin with Bach’s Partita Prelude. This song was the first to be performed while the venue was under construction.

According to the LA Phil, “Esa-Pekka Salonen will then transform the melody into the piece FOG, with Lucinda Childs performing her own original choreography.”

The organization said Hancock and Dudamel’s HER symphony orchestra were scheduled to perform a set of Debussy’s “The Sea” in honor of Gehry’s “love of the sea, orchestral music, and jazz.”

Hunt also has an 18-year-old daughter, Makenna Rae Gordon, with ex Matthew Carnahan.

She got her start in show business as a television actress, making guest appearances on shows such as The Bionic Woman starring Lindsay Wagner and Swiss Family Robinson.

She then moved on to Mad About You, which aired from 1992 to 1999. This show brought her immense popularity and won her an Emmy Award four times.

She has also appeared in films such as What Women Want, Twister, and Cast Away.
