Gone are the days when the Punjabi film industry had only male-dominated films. Neeru Bajwa is changing the narrative. After her films like ‘Beautiful Biro’ and ‘Kali Jotta’, she will be presenting ‘Bhuhe Baliyan’. The main cast of this film are all women. From Neeru Bajwa to Nirmal Rishi, Rubina Bajwa, Simran Chahal, Seema Kaushal, Jatinder Kaur, Rupinder Rupi and Gurpreet Bang, all these women are playing lead roles in the film. This is a story that every girl can relate to.

Additionally, it was written by Jagdeep Waring and directed by Uday Pratap Singh.

Singer Guru Randhawa was earlier in the news for his debut song in Bollywood ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’ and now his Punjabi debut is making headlines. Although the singer-turned-actor did not talk much about the film, he recently took to his social media handle to share a clip from the sets of his first Punjabi film. In the clip, he was seen dancing to a Punjabi song along with one of his co-stars, Neha Dayal. He wrote in the caption, “On the set of my first Punjabi movie. See you in theaters in 2024.”

After the huge success of ‘Honsla Rakh’, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill have joined hands once again. They will be seen in one of Punjab’s much-awaited films ‘Ranna Ch Dhanna’. This film will also be directed by Amarjit Singh Salon, director of ‘Honsra Rak’. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on October 2, 2024.

The ‘Jut & Juliet’ series is one of the most beloved film series. We have fans all over the world. Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh’s jodi became famous only after ‘Jatt & Juliet’, so even after their last outing ‘Shadaa’, the audience was curious to know about ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’. So, great news for fans. “Jatt & Juliet 3” has been announced. Written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the film will hit the big screens on June 28, 2024.
