Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year. The couple had got married in a hush hush ceremony on January 17, 2001, and didn’t share many pictures from their wedding. However, after almost 20 years, some pictures from their wedding ceremony have gone viral on the Internet.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna marked 20 years of togetherness on January 17. Akshay posted a loved-up selfie with his wife Twinkle and wished her happy anniversary. He wrote, “The surest I’ve ever been of a partnership…Twenty years of togetherness and you still make my heart flutter and sometimes even drive me up the wall but then again I wouldn’t have it any other way coz a smile is never far when you are near. Happy anniversary Tina (sic).”
Reposting the picture that Akshay Kumar shared, Twinkle Khanna wished him in her unique humorous style. She wrote, “You are the beauty and the brawn in this partnership and I can’t even say I am the brain, because you are smarter than me. We don’t need each other to be complete (that’s just a cliche from soppy ballads) but we want to have the other one around always and that is perhaps the only way it is meant to be. Twinkle Khanna married actor Akshay Kumar on January 17, 2001. They have co-starred in films such as International Khiladi and Zulmi. Their son Aarav was born in 2002 and the couple welcomed their daughter Nitara in 2012.
The couple has worked together in two films – Zulmi and International Khiladi. They are proud parents to two children – Aarav (17) and Nitara (7).
