True Brit Entertainment has acquired The Death of Robin Hood

True Brit Entertainment has acquired the UK rights to The death of Robin HoodStarring Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer.

The exciting film revolves around Robin Hood, who wrestles with his past after a life full of crime and murder. In the hands of a mysterious woman, he is offered a chance at redemption.

Directed by Michael Sarnosky, production is scheduled to begin in 2025 with Jackman signed on as executive producer.

The acquisition, brokered by WME Independent, took place on the back of the Cannes Film Festival with True Brit acquiring UK rights and A24 US rights.

Lyrical Media is fully financing the film. Aaron Ryder and Andrew Sweet will produce under their Ryder Picture Company banner along with Alexander Black for Lyrical Media. Lyrical’s John Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers will executive produce with Rama Gottomukkala, Sarnoski and Jackman.
