Bihar voters get 50% discount on movie tickets: Bollywood News
Those who voted in Bihar on June 1 have a sweet treat in store: New films released this week have gotten off to a strong start, in part because the ticket price for all films is a flat 99 rupees.
Now, in an unprecedented move, cinemas in the state of Bihar have been told to offer a 50 percent discount on film tickets to anyone who voted in Saturday’s Lok Sabha elections.
“We have been asked to provide 50 per cent concession at polling booths from Sunday onwards, which means the increase in footfall will continue this weekend too,” said Kumar Abhishek, cinema manager at Kone Complex Patna.
