Bhaje Vaayu Vegam review. Bhaje Vaayu Vegam Bollywood movie review, story, rating
“Bhaje Vaayu Vegam” is the inspiring story of a man who is falsely accused of killing a police officer, goes on the run from politicians, police and gangsters and desperately tries to clear his name.
Story:
Brothers-in-law Venkat (Kartikeya Gummakonda) and Raju (Rahul Tyson) arrive in the city with dreams of becoming a cricketer and a software engineer respectively. But when they face obstacles that derail their plans, they decide to take different paths. This decision takes them on an unexpected and intriguing journey that intertwines with the machinations of mafia don David (Ravi Shankar), adding complexity to the story.
analysis:
Kartikeya Gummakonda delivers a gripping performance in a role that suits him perfectly, conveying emotions and expressions with his trademark intensity and high-octane style and showcasing his stunt-performing skills.
The female lead, Iswarya Menon, is sadly only seen in a few scenes but plays a vital role in the larger plot developments of the story. Tanikella Bharani delivers a brilliant performance and Rahul Tyson makes a spectacular comeback and impresses the audience with his performance. P. Ravi Shankar surprises everyone with his performance and leaves a strong impact in the second half. The supporting cast including Sharath Lohitswar, Prudhvi and Sudarshan also do a good job in their roles.
Director Prashant Reddy has crafted a crime thriller that is intended to entertain and engage the audience. Though the story seems simple, Reddy’s racy screenplay and skillful blend of emotion and crime drama keeps the viewer hooked and excited. A surprising twist before the intermission sets the stage for an intriguing second half.
But despite a number of interesting twists, Reddy’s tendency to repeat certain elements makes it feel formulaic and unsettling to the viewer, and the climax, while decent, falls short of the highlights of the rest of the film.
Radhan’s music fails to make much of an impact and the songs end up being mediocre. However, Kapil Kumar’s background score, especially in the latter half of the film, enhances the viewing experience. Rajasekhar’s cinematography is impressive, adding beauty and color to the scenes. G. Sathya’s editing is decent, though some scenes could have been sharper. Overall, the film boasts of good production values.
verdict:
Karthikeya shines in Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, delivering an impactful performance that propels the story forward. Director Prashanth Reddy’s film promises a thrilling cinematic experience with a simple storyline yet clever twists that keep the audience on their toes.
