Rohit Shetty, who recently wrapped up the shooting of his much-awaited film, Singham Again, in Kashmir, took to his Instagram account to express his gratitude to the people of Kashmir.
Shetty described Singham Again’s shooting schedule in Kashmir as “incredibly amazing and moving” and shared his thoughts on how the abrogation of Article 370 has brought about changes in the region.
Rohit shared the caption, “Kashmir has always been a paradise in our motherland, but there was once terror, unrest, curfew and no social life. Then Article 370 of the constitution was repealed. Five years later, we are back to shoot Singham. And now, a new Kashmir. Happiness. Youth energy. Tourism. Peace. Love. Naye Bharat ka naya Kashmir.”
Apart from the text, the video also features several looks at Ajay Devgn during the shooting of ‘Singham Again’ in Kashmir. Rohit Shetty is seen interacting with police officers, meeting kids and signing autographs.
In the caption of his post, Shetty thanked PM Modi and said, “It was an absolutely amazing and inspiring schedule. Thank you for the immense love for Kashmir.”
Recently, Ajay Devgn shared a picture from the shooting schedule of Singham Again Kashmir, in which he was seen sporting a tense look in a police uniform surrounded by army tanks, which he captioned as, “On duty… again!”
For the uninitiated, ‘Singam’ is the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop film series. Apart from Ajay Devgn and Jackie Shroff, ‘Singam’ also stars a host of other actors including Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor.
‘Singam Again’ is scheduled to release in August and will be screened alongside Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa The Rule’, which is also slated to release on August 15.
