It has been announced that Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s debut film will be released on OTT on June 14. Titled Maharaja, the film also stars Shahbari Wagh and Shalini Pandey. Meanwhile, Junaid has already begun shooting for his second film opposite Sai Pallavi ahead of the release of his debut film, and is currently working on his third film, according to reports.
Junaid will be teaming up with Khushi Kapoor in a romantic comedy film. It is an adaptation of the Tamil hit film “Love Today”. As per a Mid-Day report, the film was shot in Mumbai on Monday. It is directed by Advait Chandan. Shooting began at Mira Road. Reportedly, the film was initially scheduled to release in June but the shoot started early as Junaid will be busy promoting “Maharaja” next month. The next three weeks of shooting are scheduled to take place in Mumbai. As of now, shooting began on Monday at 7-Eleven Club, Mira Road, which will be the location for the next few days.
While shooting began on Sunday, portions of “Junaid” and “Khushi” began on Monday onwards.
The makers are hoping to wrap up some of the outdoor scenes of the film before the rains set in. The film is produced by Aamir Khan, who is currently busy shooting for “Sitaare Zameen Par”. The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh.
