On Sunday, Devgn was seen shooting for a song sequence for the film, while Riteish and Vaani also shot a few scenes. The 12-hour schedule in the 40 degree heat of Lucknow didn’t seem to be too difficult for the actors.

Students and teachers at the school could also be seen spying on the actors as they worked. The university’s production company introduced tight security for the filming and prevented strangers from entering the university premises.
The film, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, is the second installment of Raid and was also shot in Lucknow, starring Ajay Devgn as an income tax officer. This time, Devgn will be returning to the big screen as Amey Patnaik, an IRS officer who solves a new tax evasion case in the film.

The first film, Raid (2018), is based on a real-life raid carried out by Income Tax Department officials on a Kanpur-based businessman and politician in the 1980s. This raid has gone down in history as the longest raid in India. Lasts two nights and three days.
