3 robbers arrested, 26 cases solved, inspired by Bollywood movie ‘Dhoom’

Three men use high-speed bikes inspired by the Bollywood movie “”doom” was arrested by police on suspicion of robbery, officials announced today.
It added that Ashraf, 23, Tawfik, 24, and Istekar, 22, were fleeing on bicycles after robbing people.
“On April 10, we received information that the notorious robber Ashraf was in Delhi’s Johripur area. Multiple raids were conducted in the same area and Loni in Uttar Pradesh. Ashraf, Tawfiq, Ishtikhar Three robbers were arrested. Two motorcycles and a Yamaha R15 used in the crime were also recovered,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Amit Goel.
The accused added that during interrogation, he revealed that Nazakat Ali alias KTM was the leader of the gang.
“They’re all deeply influenced by movies.”doomAnd they will steal fast bikes and rob people,” Goel said.
The suspects reportedly rode motorcycles and stole valuables from people on the street before fleeing at high speed.
Police said the arrests helped solve 26 robbery and snatching cases registered in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad in the past two weeks.
Goel said the three would change clothes while on the bike to confuse police and witnesses, adding that efforts were underway to identify and arrest the gang leader.
