‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ is an important film for Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Akshay’s last box office hit was OMG 2, in which he appeared in an extended cameo. Apart from ‘OMG 2’, he has acted in films like ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ and ‘Mission Raniganj’, which tanked at the box office. Ram Setu, released in 2022, has collected more than Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in the first three days. Ram Setu collected Rs 350 crore in the first three days and ended its theatrical run with Rs 740 crore.
As for Tiger Shroff, he was last seen in the film Gampath opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon. The film collected Rs 1.55 crore in India.
Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan also stars Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar, Ronit Roy, Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta gave the film one star and called it a “snoozefest”.
Part of the review read: “Maybe some AI app has secretly overtaken the script and turned the movie into a squeezable paste with zero flavor?” Otherwise, how can these two heroes, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, be turned into such dull clones? ”
