Vidya Balan reacts to nepotism in Bollywood: ‘Kithi ki baap ki industry nahi hai’ Hindi Movie News
Vidya Balan, who made her Bollywood debut with Pradeep Sarkar’s Parineeta, spoke about nepotism and the prejudice she faces in the Hindi film industry.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Vidya said nepotism or not nepotism, I am here. (kissi ki baap ki industrial nahi hai, nahi toh har baap ka beta, har baap ki beti successful hotel). This industry doesn’t belong to anyone’s father. Otherwise, all the star kids would be successful today.
Elaborating further, Vidya added that she was a lone ranger and was content to pursue her own interests. She also said there were moments when she wondered if she could have been treated more kindly at certain times with the support of certain individuals. But when it comes to her opportunities, she believes no one could take away what she deserves.
Meanwhile, the much-awaited trailer of ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ has been released on social media. The film’s captivating trailer showed how a couple, Vidya and Pratik, face relationship challenges and end up having an affair with the characters played by Senthil and Ileana.
