Renowned film director Gurinder Chadha has refuted rumors that Alia Bhatt will play an Indian princess in an upcoming Disney project. Garminder Chadha took to Twitter to clarify that the talks with Bhatt were for another project and not what was being speculated. The film’s script is still in development.

The project is conceptualized as an original musical composition inspired by historical Indian princesses and is a collaboration between Chadha and screenwriter Paul Maeda Burgess. Although there are many expectations, details of the story have not yet been revealed.
