When no one recognized Prithviraj Sukumaran on the sets of Raavan

Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently making waves for his film ‘Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life’. The film, directed by Blessy and based on the novel of the same name, is a survival drama that tells the story of Malayan migrant workers who are forced into slavery by goatherds in the Saudi Arabian desert. While the film continues to do well at the box office, director Prithviraj has another big budget film scheduled for release next week. He will be playing the main antagonist in the action-packed Bollywood film ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’.

Prithviraj’s look in the film has not been revealed in the trailer or other promotional materials. ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ marks Prithviraj’s first Hindi film in seven years, after he played the villain in 2017’s ‘Naam Shabana’, which also featured extended cameos with Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar. I will be returning. He has also acted in other Hindi films like ‘Aurangzeb’ and ‘Aiyyaa’. However, it took some time for Prithviraj to gain recognition in Hindi films. He recently shared his anecdote about his experience of being unnoticed on the set of his first Hindi film.

Prithviraj made his foray into the Hindi film industry with Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil, but most of the crew were from the north. Prithviraj, who was around 25 years old at the time, revealed that no one recognized Vikram on set, even though everyone knew him very well. I even overheard people on the sets saying, “I don’t know who he is, but if Mani sir chose him, he must be a good person.” Despite not being recognized, Prithviraj cherished his working experience with Mani Ratnam. Meanwhile, Prithviraj’s new film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is scheduled to release on April 10th.
