There’s blood, violence, and heart-pounding hand-to-hand combat sequences. The action-packed teaser of ‘Kill’ starring debutant Lakshya Lalwani in the lead role has finally been released. The teaser, released Thursday by Dharma Productions and Lionsgate, begins with a disclaimer about the graphic violence that follows.

When Raksha’s character Amrit is traveling in the Rajdhani Express along with Tanya Maniktala’s character, a group of armed men is seen attacking them. We also get a glimpse of Raghav Juyal, who plays the antagonist. When Amrit is cornered, he begins a brutal rampage that spans the entire length of the moving train.

To save Tulika (Tanya), who is forced into an arranged marriage, Amrit, a suicide bomber, fights against bandits, and the train turns into a battlefield.

“Kill” has been generating a lot of buzz since it premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. The teaser includes some positive blurbs from the reviews collected. Producer Karan Johar shared the teaser on social media and wrote, “One night. One train. One reason why… #KILL (sic).” The caption also includes the film’s release date and a warning. It shows. “July 5, 2024. This film contains violent content and may be intense and disturbing to some viewers. Viewers are advised to use caution. (as per the original text)” is written.

Produced by Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, Kill is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The film’s synopsis on TIFF’s official website reads: “In director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt’s unrelenting martial arts thriller, a passenger train bound for New Delhi sees two commandos face off against a 40-strong army. and become a bloody battlefield of brutal, close-quarters combat.” A thief has broken into the house. ”

The teaser was released just before the release of Dev Patel’s equally action-packed film The Monkey Man. “Kill” will be released theatrically in the United States by Lionsgate. Lakshya was initially scheduled to make her debut in the canceled Karan-produced film Dostana 2.
