Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is gearing up for ‘Maidan’, a biographical sports drama that pays a cinematic homage to the remarkable life of football legend Syed Abdul Rahim.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the film received positive reviews from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and was granted a U/A certificate.

According to reports, the CBFC screening committee reviewed the film uncut. In addition to this, the Commission advised the producers that “the film is a work of fiction inspired by real events available in the public domain, the views of legendary football players, and the author’s research with elements of fiction.” They requested that a disclaimer be inserted stating that the work is a work of art. .

The disclaimer also states that certain dialogue is used for dramatic effect only and that the film is not intended to induce any illegal activity.

Following these adjustments, the CBFC issued certificates to the filmmakers on April 3. The censor certificate indicates that the length of the film is 181.30 minutes, which is equivalent to 3 hours, 1 minute and 30 seconds in Maidan terms.

The film has an excellent supporting cast including Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh. Directed by Amit Love. The film will hit the big screens on April 10th.
